Formed in 2021 by Dr Iain Allan, Dalgain Biomedical Ltd is a micro SME for consultancy and collaborative research. Iain is an experienced microbiologist with an interest in novel biomaterials. His research has focused on developing materials intended for wound management. These have included an infection-indicating material, a light-activated antimicrobial film, and wound-odour adsorbing forms. Iain has considerable experience in producing tissue regeneration matrices intended for the repair of damaged skin and has developed cell culture methods combined with imaging techniques to quantify and characterise cellular infiltration of these materials. Qualifications:

  • Your business revenue in the last 12 months is less than $1M USD
  • Your business has been in business for fewer than five years
  • You have previously received no IBM technology credits
  • You are not a paying IBM Cloud customer
  • At Builder level the 12 months start

Premium Level

Credits: $10,000/month in IBM Cloud credits for up to one year

Qualifications: You are in an approved VC/accelerator/incubator

  • You’re working with innovative technologies like blockchain, AI and etc.
